With a history in Automated Flood Warning Systems dating back to 1979, RCS is well qualified to address your particular system needs. Current customers include CCRFD in Las Vegas and WV Division of Homeland Security.
RCS established the repeater points for the wide area ALERT system presently running in the Northeast. We installed and configured sites at Mt Wilcox in Lee Massachusetts, Pelham MA, Glastonbury CT, West Haven CT, Albany Weather Service Office, Albany NY, and High Knob in Pike County PA.
RCS Communications, incorporated in 1998, was originally established to meet the unique communications requirements of real time hydrological data dissemination. These particular requirements of various emergency management programs are primarily associated with flash flood warning systems. Drawing upon expertise developed over a quarter of a century in land mobile communications, RCS has successfully provided installation and engineering services for Radio Controlled Systems to many customers in the Flood Warning community, including the National Weather Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, VA Department of Emergency Management, WV Office of Emergency Services, PEMA, FEMA and KY Office of Emergency Management. Similar services have also been provided to Prince George’s Co. MD and North Carolina Emergency Services.
We also offer bench repairs and tech support for most of the transmitters and data collection packages now in use including the Handar 585, 555FG and others.
